What this means for industry Open to all suppliers. Participation is public and recorded.

The challenge

Winter particulate levels are among the highest in Europe, and the city cannot attribute them to sources with enough confidence to act.

The project

Expansion of the reference monitoring network, a calibrated low-cost sensor layer for spatial coverage, and a source attribution model that separates domestic heating, transport and transboundary contributions.

Expected impact

  • Reference-grade coverage across the basin
  • Published source attribution with stated uncertainty
  • Open hourly data feed
