Why there is no banner

Consent banners exist because websites load third-party services that track visitors. This site loads none. There are no external fonts, no external scripts, no embedded video players, no social media widgets, no tag managers and no advertising pixels.

Every asset on this site is served from the same origin as the page you are reading. That is a design decision with three consequences: pages load faster, nothing about your visit is shared with a third party, and no banner is needed.

Local storage

Filter selections in the project pipeline are written to the address bar rather than to storage, so a filtered view can be shared as a link. Nothing is written to your browser's local storage or session storage.

If this changes

If a service that requires cookies is ever introduced, this page will be updated before it is enabled, the service will be named here, and consent will be requested properly rather than assumed from continued browsing.

ESCA's preference is to avoid such services entirely. Where measurement is needed, the intention is to use a method that collects no personal data and sets no cookie.
