The challenge

Depot charging capacity limits how many diesel buses can be replaced in each annual tranche.

The project

Procurement of battery electric buses together with depot charging infrastructure and a grid connection upgrade, contracted as one package so that vehicle delivery and charging capacity arrive together. Phase one is in service and its performance data forms part of the tender documentation.
